Yesterday, Senators adopted an amendment offered by Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) to the concurrent budget resolution (S.Con.Res. 13) by unanimous consent.
This amendment enhances “the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) ability to investigate and remove fraudulent mortgage lenders from Federal Housing Administration (FHA) programs,” according to a press release.
