Reid Files Cloture on Financial Reform Bill

Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) has filed a procedural (cloture) motion on the Restoring American Financial Stability Act (S. 3217).

A vote on this motion is possible Wednesday.  Amendments will still be considered up until the vote is taken.

    Stability will be scarce and slow in coming as long as Washington insists on giving money to everyone except those REAL Americans who need it the most….long term unemployed who are OUT of benefits….while the fatr daddies in Washington sit on their rich duffs and acuse us of being lazy. Hopefully they will all be in our position someday or at least I pray they will be. STOP sending OUR tax dollars to every damn country but our own. We ARE NOT the world’s big brother. Let them figure it out on their own….like we do in the times of disaster.
