Senator John Kerry (D-MA) “vowed Thursday to push ahead with climate change legislation that he drafted with Sens. Joe Lieberman (ID-Conn.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and said he believes Graham — who walked away from the effort — will ultimately support the measure,” Roll Call reports.

“We’re not going to try. We’re going to do what we’re going to do,” Kerry said, adding that the bill would be introduced early next week.

Of Graham, Kerry said: “He’s going to vote for the bill” regardless of whether he’s at the unveiling. Graham walked away from the group after Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) suggested immigration reform would go before climate change this year.
