Reid Files Cloture on Smith, Johnson Nominations

Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) has filed cloture on the following nominations:

• M. Patricia Smith to be Solicitor for the Department of Labor
• Martha Johnson to be Administrator of the General Services Administration

A vote has been scheduled for Monday on the Smith nomination.  No vote is scheduled yet on the Johnson nomination.

Update (2/1): Cloture was invoked on the Patricia Smith nomination.

Update (2/4): Senators have voted to confirm this nomination.
