Montana Senate: Tester, Rehberg Announce First Quarter Numbers

Montana “Sen. Jon Tester announced raising more than $1.1 million in the first three months of the year, but his Republican challenger, Rep. Denny Rehberg, is nipping at the Democrat’s heels,” Roll Call reports.

Rehberg raised more than $580,000 and transferred nearly $500,000 from his Congressional campaign committee, bringing his total for the first quarter to more than $1 million, according to his communications director, Brian Barrett.

Rehberg had more than $900,000 in cash on hand at the end of the quarter, and Tester had more than $1.4 million. Tester started the year with about $560,000, nearly even with Rehberg.
