Massachusetts Senate: Newton Mayor Considering Run

Newton Mayor Setti Warren (D) is considering a run against Senator Scott Brown (R-MA) in 2012, Politic365 reports.

“I am considering a run against Senator Brown,” Mayor Warren told a local newspaper.  Going on to add, “in the final analysis, if I believe I can do a better job for Massachusetts, I’ll put my name on the ballot.”  Governor Deval Patrick may have jumped out there a little too soon when he told reporters that Warren was “in, for sure.”

If he’s going to run, he needs to get out and meet the voters. He needs to be in every city, town and hamlet of Massachusetts and shake every voter’s hand and personally ask them for their vote. He needs make himself well known throughout the Commonwealth. Looking forward to meeting him at the Democratic State Convention in June.
