Arizona Senate: Kyl’s Campaign Filing Offers Little Indication of Future Plans

Minority Whip Jon Kyl (R-AZ) raised “$106,175 during the last three months of the year,” POLITICO reports.

He is the “only remaining upper chamber Republican who has yet to articulate his 2012 political plans,” and this filing did little to clear up the picture.

That left the three-term senator with $681,801 in the bank heading into 2011.

But the filing with the Federal Election Commission doesn’t offer any leading indicators on whether the 68-year-old will pursue a fourth term.

Washington Republicans “concede they don’t have a firm handle on what Kyl will do.”
