DeMint Introduces Health Repeal Bill

Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) has “introduced legislation to fully repeal the Democrats’ government health care takeover that President Obama signed into law March 23, 2010,” according to a press release issued today.

David Drucker of Roll Call says this bill is identical to one already passed by the House which the Senate may vote on soon. He says the Senate version was introduced so members could “register support through co-sponsoring.”

    I certainly hope DeMint and all the co-signors of this bill will give up their tax payer supported health insurance along with any benefits they receive as federal employees. They should all put their money where their collective mouths are. I doubt very much if any of them will give up anything, but they expect the American people to pay for their benefits and feel absolutely nothing for screwing around with the lives of the citizens of our country. Shame on each any every one of them.
