Schumer Says Democrats Will Force Tough Votes on Health Repeal

Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) “said on Sunday that Democrats would require Republicans to vote on individual provisions of the health care law if they force a measure to repeal it,” POLITICO reports.

“If the Republicans offer an amendment on the floor, then we will require them to vote on the individual protections in the bill that are very popular and that even some of the new Republican House members have said they support,” Schumer said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

Some of the provisions Schumer cited include the increased prescription drug benefits for seniors, allowing 21-to-26 year-olds to remain on their parents health care and free check-ups for those on Medicare.

Judging from this story, “Chuckie Cheese” Schumer is even dumber than I dared thought possible. Chuckie’s first, and biggest, mistake is assuming Mitch McConnell really gives two s***s about separate votes. ;)
