Oklahoma Senate: Coburn Firm on Pledge to Not Run Again

Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) “said Sunday he will make good on his pledge to not seek reelection to the Senate in 2016,” POLITICO reports.

"No way, no how. I will be through at the end of this term," Coburn said on "Fox News Sunday."

Coburn ran on the promise that this term would be his last, as he believes fresh perspectives from outside the beltway can bring more pragmatic and effective approaches to crafting policy in the Capitol.

I’ll never forgive this compassionate conservative for holding up aid to the people of Haiti. I can only hope that when he meets Almighty God at the time of his judgement he’s escorted to the down elevator where he will suffer for all eternity. Mr. Coburn you’re a cold heartless bastard.
