Gregg Committed to Bipartisan Financial Reform Bill

With reports out today that talks may be breaking down on a bipartisan approach to financial reform legislation, Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH) issued the following statement:

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH), a member of the Senate Banking Committee, today issued the following statement regarding regulatory reform negotiations.

Senator Gregg stated, “As the regulatory reform debate continues to unfold, I remain committed to working with Chairman Dodd, Ranking Member Shelby and other members of the Senate Banking Committee to produce a bipartisan bill.  I especially look forward to continuing to work with Senator Jack Reed with whom I’ve had a very constructive dialogue relative to reforming the derivatives market.”
