The on-again, off-again "relationship between the National Republican Senatorial Committee and Joe Miller, the Alaska candidate for the United States Senate, appears to be on again," the New York Times reports.
The Daily News-Miner in Fairbanks reports that the N.R.S.C., which opposed Mr. Miller during the Republican primary, has sent an e-mail solicitation to donors asking for money to support Mr. Miller during what is expected to be a lengthy recount.
“We need to get Joe the resources he needs to win the vote count. Because we need Joe to join our fight against Barack Obama,” Senator John Cornyn of Texas said in the e-mail, according to the Alaska newspaper.

I wonder if this will result in a party switch for the incoming Alaska Senator.
