Senator John McCain (R-AZ) “wants to call in the cavalry to defend Arizona from illegal immigrants crossing the border from Mexico—and to shore up his own right flank,” POLITICO reports.

McCain asked the Obama administration Monday to send National Guard troops to the border after a prominent Arizona rancher was found shot to death on his own property.

"I am asking you and the administration to immediately reconsider your position and send National Guard troops to our southern border region," McCain wrote in a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano. Last year, the administration denied a request from Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer for National Guard protection for the border.

Ha ha does anyone actually believe that McCain really cares about border security? He sponsored an amnesty bill with Ted Kennedy! It’s all for show because it’s an election year and he’s facing a real challenge in the primary from conservative JD Hayworth. JD has stood up against illegal immigration for years, and wrote a book about it. If you want a real conservative in the Senate, one who won’t sponsor amnesty bills like McCain, help JD reach his goal of raising $1 million this month, tomorrow is the last day of the Million Dollar March – contribute now! https://www.jdforsenate.com/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=28

Vote McAmnesty out of office, the only reason he now supports additional guard on the border is for points with the people.

Napolitano lied and Mr. Krentz died. Shame on our Obama / Napolitano and our government for allowing the U.S. / Mexican border to be a sieve for illegal immigration.
