CN2 News in South Carolina reports via Twitter that Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) won’t run for another Senate term if he wins re-election this year.
@senjimdemint says if elected, this will be his last term in the US Senate. Doesn’t say what he’s next venture will be though.

He is probably the only Senator I would want to keep around–and precisely because he is the type of guy who understands the importance of term limits. Senator, I sure hope we can get more like you this November!
