U.S. Representative Baron Hill (D-IN) “plans to announce today that he will not run for the Senate in 2010, two sources familiar with Hill’s plans confirm to POLITICO.”
Hill, a five-term congressman from Seymour, will make his plans known at a noon press conference. His decision leaves Rep. Brad Ellsworth the strong favorite to capture the Democratic nomination to succeed retiring Sen. Evan Bayh.
