Bayh May Oppose Funds to Assist Cities in Paying for Domestic Terror Trials

Senator Evan Bayh (D-IN) “on Sunday signaled he might not support the White House’s proposed $200 million fund to help cities defray the costs of hosting domestic terror trials,” The Hill reports.

"It’s hard to justify spending more money," Bayh told Fox News Sunday, noting his opposition to the fund did not mean he now supported trying terror suspects before military commissions.

"I don’t think we should spend any more money…," he repeated, adding the Justice Department should consider cheaper, safer venues. "We have a lot of fiscal problems."

One Response to Bayh May Oppose Funds to Assist Cities in Paying for Domestic Terror Trials

  1. The US Military has bases all over the US that are far more secure than any urban courthouse setting. It is beyond belief that this guy Obama would spend $200M to protect the cities and their residents where these trials take place from a terrorist response, when secure military facilities can be found in almost every state in the country.

It’s only a matter of time before Obama gets people killed because of his lack of understanding of just how dangerous this world is.
