Ambassador Confirmations: July 31

Senators have unanimously confirmed the following individuals to serve in President Obama’s Administration as United States ambassadors to their respective countries:

  • Earl Irving to be U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Swaziland
  • Donald Gips to be U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of South Africa
