• Kenneth Merten to be U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Haiti
• Donald Beyer to be U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein
• John Nay to be U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Suriname
• Vinai Thummalapally to be U.S. Ambassador to Belize
• Nicole Avant to be U.S. Ambassador to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas
• Howard Gutman to be U.S. Ambassador to Belgium
• Vilma Martinez to be U.S. Ambassador to Argentina
• David Thorne to be U.S. Ambassador to the Italian Republic (Italy) and to the Republic of San Marino
