Senator Al Franken (D-MN) has been officially added to the Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions Committee today, Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) announced.
He replaces Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), who agreed to temporarily serve on the committee until the Minnesota Senate race was resolved.
