Senate to Vote on Thomas Strickland Nomination

Senators reached agreement last night to consider the nomination of Thomas Strickland, President Obama’s nominee to be Assistant Secretary for Fish and Wildlife and Parks at the Department of Interior, today and take a final confirmation vote.

There will be up to three hours of debate (1 for Democrats, 2 for Republicans) available on the nomination before a vote, with 60 needed for passage.
