Today, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner “told a group of Democratic senators the Obama administration would not soon be returning to Capitol Hill for more bank bailout funds,” Reuters reports.
"I asked him if they’d need more TARP funding and he said ‘No time soon,’" North Dakota Sen. Kent Conrad, the Senate Budget Committee Chairman, told Reuters after the lunch meeting, referring to the Treasury’s Troubled Asset Relief Program.
